are a non-profit organization dedicated to helping families

WISE began in spirit when Lynn Twitchell made her first excursion to Kamoa, Zambia with Habitat for Humanity in June of 2001. There she met Margaret Mundia, a local woman whose volunteer work on behalf of women and children would inspire Lynn and others to form WISE. Margaret is a single mother raising eight children with no additional financial support.
Lynn developed a close friendship with Margaret. In 2002 she was able to return to Kamoa to lead a Habitat for Humanity Global Village Team. When Lynn asked Margaret if there was something she could bring, Margaret requested a sewing machine, which she has since been able to use to support her family and to teach other women in the village how to sew.

Plain text global menus, global sidebar areas, header
and footers are setup for easy website updates. The drop menus
can be setup 3 deep. Or any item can be
set as a plain button with no drop menu. The sidebar search
can be switched off, setup as a Google search or, 3 options
are included for a site search. The sidebar scroller is displaying
3 basic HTML pages and is updated like any other template page.
The right sidebar can be switched off if not required. View
the steps.
