This job required Humphrey to monitor the academic, physical and psychological wellbeing of all of WISE’s scholarship students and to take appropriate action as needed. In addition, he coordinated events involving the WISE students, and acted as the ombudsman for the students with WISE and its project coordinator.

This task required extraordinary responsibility, and Humphrey was more than up to the occasion. Moreover, Humphrey’s role with WISE did not end with graduation from Kaoma Secondary. He and Brian now intern at the Women’s Center assisting Maggie with her administrative duties and operating the hammermill, now that the Women’s Center has electricity.
