Mukelabai Mukela

Mukelabai Mukela joined WISE Zambia as its education coordinator in May of 2021.

Mr. Mukela is a native of the Western Province. He holds a teaching certificate from the Mongu College of Education, his secondary school teacher’s certificate from Copperbelt University, a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Barotseland, and a master’s degree in education, with an emphasis in mathematics, from the Information and Communication University in Lusaka.

Most recently, Mr. Mukela was the head teacher over the social science department at Luampa Secondary School—a school with numerous WISE Zambia scholarship recipients!

Mr. Mukela coordinates WISE Zambia’s scholarship program and academic initiatives, for both the secondary and tertiary levels.

An active member of his church, his life motto is “be humble, be thankful, be yourself.”
