Stephanie Anderson

Stephanie Anderson was introduced to WISE Zambia in 2021 when fellow Board Member Pat Stockford moved to her hometown of Springfield, Missouri, and she found a great match for her passion in women’s empowerment and educational initiatives. Stephanie formally joined the WISE Board in 2022.

Stephanie has an extensive background in the nonprofit sector where she spent nearly ten years of her career working with local and international organizations in staff, consultant, and agency roles. Most recently, she served as the Development Director and International Operations Director for a multi-million dollar nonprofit where she spearheaded fundraising and directed efforts for a women’s empowerment program that launched over 200 women into business in Ethiopia during her tenure.

Stephanie is the proud daughter of two accomplished Educators and is passionate about helping the youth of Zambia create a sustainable future for themselves and their community through the power of education.

Stephanie works as an Engagement Specialist for People Centric Consulting group where she puts her business strategy and community engagement skills to work for organizations across the country. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Evangel University, as well as a certificate in Women’s Entrepreneurship from Cornell University. Stephanie resides in Springfield, Missouri, with her husband Andy, and extra large dog Luther, where they own a small business and are very involved in local nonprofit community.
