meet Pelekelo Musole
From WISE-supported learner to a committed member of the WISE Zambia team
Pelekelo Musole’s journey with WISE Zambia began in 2014 when she was in Grade 8 at Kaoma Secondary School. Originally from Nooki Village in Luampa District, Pelekelo completed her primary education at Nooki Primary School before progressing to secondary school.
With support and encouragement from WISE Zambia, she completed her secondary education in 2018. In 2020, Pelekelo was accepted into Lewanika College of Nursing and Midwifery, where she pursued a Diploma in Registered Public Health Nursing.
Her determination, discipline and leadership abilities distinguished her throughout her studies. When she graduated in 2023, she was recognised as the Best Student in Leadership and Management—an achievement that reflected both her academic commitment and her potential to serve others.
In 2024, Pelekelo’s journey came full circle when she joined WISE Zambia as an Office Assistant at the Mongu Office.
Today, she supports the office’s daily operations, helps keep activities organised and contributes to creating a welcoming environment for colleagues, beneficiaries and visitors.
“Being a member of the WISE Zambia team is both a privilege and a responsibility. It is also my way of giving back to the organisation that supported me. I am committed to carrying out my duties with integrity, professionalism and accountability.”
Pelekelo chose to serve with WISE Zambia because she wanted to contribute to an organisation making a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children and women.
For her, the greatest satisfaction comes from seeing children remain in school, grow in confidence and develop hope for a better future.
“Seeing children smile and knowing that they have an opportunity to stay in school reminds me that every role at WISE Zambia contributes to changing lives.”
Her message to beneficiaries is equally encouraging:
“Never stop believing in yourselves. Work hard, make the most of every opportunity and remember that your dreams are within reach.”
To WISE Zambia’s partners and supporters, Pelekelo expresses her sincere gratitude:
“Thank you for your kindness and continued support. Your generosity is opening doors for vulnerable children and giving them hope for a brighter future. Together, we are making a lasting difference.”
Pelekelo’s journey is more than a personal achievement. It is evidence of what becomes possible when education, opportunity and sustained support come together.
From beneficiary to graduate. From graduate to team member. From receiving support to helping others move forward.
We are proud to celebrate Pelekelo Musole—a remarkable reflection of the lasting impact of WISE Zambia.
